My new smartwatch told me to go to the ER for a heart issue I don't have
I was just walking my dog in Portland last Tuesday when the watch buzzed and said my heart rhythm was irregular and to seek medical help. I spent 4 hours and $250 at urgent care only for the doctor to say the reading was wrong and I was perfectly fine. Has anyone else had a health gadget cause a major false alarm like that?

Sounds like your watch is trying to get you a date with a doctor.

Well @betty_reed61, I guess my watch thinks I need more than just steps in my life. It's setting me up for a very expensive first date.

Actually @ruby561, maybe your watch is trying to SAVE you money. A fancy first date filters out people who just want a free meal. It sets a standard so you find someone who values your time. That watch might be smarter than we think.
