My old tractor is such a clunker it wouldn't know the difference. The stuff seems to run fine, but my main piece of equipment is practically a museum display. I'm probably not the best person to ask about performance.

Growing herbs right on the kitchen counter sounded perfect for my friend. She got a little mint plant for her window sill. It started well but then got those tiny flies all over. Had to toss the whole thing out after a week. She says the counter is for coffee makers, not farms.

What exactly burned you, was it late payment or scope creep?

My first crash, three guys ran over before the sound stopped. @the_lily is right about instinct, but sims also skip building that crew reflex when things go wrong.

We get so caught up in designing the perfect system that we forget the tool is supposed to serve us, not the other way around. Cutting it down to one page forces that shift in perspective.
