Isn't that kinda risky to do all the time though? I mean, speeding up a kiln fuse might work on small test tiles, but I've seen whole pots crack from thermal shock when someone rushed the heating. My studio mate once tried a fast cycle on a large bowl and it came out with hidden stress fractures that showed up later. It's easy to get lucky once, but consistency goes out the window. Maybe it's just me, but manuals are written for a reason, to avoid wasting clay and all that work.

My buddy at the range told me they're on a nationwide backorder for months now. It's honestly SO frustrating when you just need one part to finish a build. I heard it's because of supply chain issues with the manufacturers. I've had my project on hold since January, and it's driving me CRAZY. We're all in the same boat, waiting for these pins to show up. Hang in there, it'll happen eventually.
