Unpopular opinion: I think dropping whole seasons at once has made TV less fun to watch with friends.

Stranger Things season 3 releasing all episodes on one day created a perfect weekend for my friends and me. I am honestly shocked to hear you say it made TV less fun to watch together. We set up a big binge watch with snacks and talked about every episode without pause. The old weekly schedule meant someone always missed an episode and we had to avoid spoilers. Now, we all finish the story at the same time and have real conversations about it. That shared excitement is something we never had with weekly drops.

Picked up a tip for beard trimming from a colleague

Tried trimming my own hair once. Ended up wearing a hat for a month.

Just straightened a bowed violin neck with careful clamping, but the wood movement afterwards has me wondering

Park.adam's note on leaving things clamped for days matches what I've heard. Some old repair book said wood has a memory, like it wants to go back to how it was. It needs that long clamp time to forget its old bent shape. Your tiny shift back is probably that memory fighting the change. The book called it "creep," which is just a fancy way of saying wood moves slow. Makes sense if you've ever left a wet board in the sun and watched it warp.

I used to think power yoga was just for showoffs

Yeah, I totally get that. I felt the same way for a long time, like it was all about fancy poses. What really helped me build up was focusing on flows that link a strong core to leg work, like moving from chair pose to warrior III. It makes the strength part feel more grounded, you know?

Heads up on the new coolant flush method for Volvo Penta diesels

Man that silent update thing is the worst. Nearly cooked my D6 last spring following the old bleeder valve sequence, temp spiked while idling after the flush. Now I screenshot the revision date every time I open a PDF, and I still miss stuff. Their whole update system feels like trying to catch smoke.
