inHot take: split screen beat online for us and a dead router in Austin proved it
The thing is though, split screen was only magic because of the limits. Halo 3 on a couch meant screen peeking, shoving, yelling at your buddy in the same room, all that stuff. Online nights give you way more people to play with and you don't need everyone to drive across town. A dead router just forces you back into what you already had, it doesn't make it better. We played GoldenEye split screen back in the day too and half the fun was being in the same room. But I wouldn't trade that for having 12 friends on any night of the week, internet or not.

inTried spray foam in my garage ceiling and now my upstairs floor is freezing
Garage ceilings are a weird one. You basically sealed off the heat that was bleeding up into your floor joists, and that air was what kept your living room warm. So now that heat has nowhere to go, and the cold outside is winning through the foam. I'd check if there's any air sealing left around the perimeter edges and electrical boxes before you add vents. Those gaps can pull cold air straight in and make it feel like the foam did nothing. Also, that foam might be trapping moisture now, which can rot things out over time. Honestly, vents might help, but only if the garage is still getting some heat from somewhere, otherwise you're just letting more cold in. Keep an eye on that gas bill for another month, sometimes it spikes while the house rebalances.

inPSA: Check the unit price on bulk rice before you buy
The stores count on folks not doing the math at the shelf. Unit pricing is right there on the tag, but most people just grab the biggest bag because it looks like a better deal. I started checking everything, not just rice. Oats and beans are the same way, and even pasta sometimes. It takes an extra ten seconds but it saves a few bucks every trip.
