I finally stopped stacking my snack plates wrong
So I had this big snack plate planned for my friends coming over last Saturday, and I just grabbed whatever I had in the fridge. I put the cheese slices right on top of the crackers, then added a pile of grapes on the side, and a bunch of salami rolled up in one corner. By the time everyone started eating, the crackers were all soggy from the cheese moisture, and the grapes were sliding into the salami. It looked like a mess after about 10 minutes. My buddy pointed out that I should have put the wet stuff like grapes and pickles in separate little bowls, and kept the crackers and cheese on different sections of the board. Has anyone else figured out a trick to keep everything from getting gross and mixed together?
